A "bulldog" attorney is one who will fight and fight over every issue--not letting go of anything until absolutely necessary.  If your highest priority is to come out ahead of your spouse, a bulldog attorney may be best for you.  However, be prepared to spend tens of thousands of dollars in the fight with no guarantee of coming out ahead of your spouse.  It is common for divorcing couples to rack up legal fees many times the dollar amount of an issue at stake.
